Re: Importing xls/csv files containing multiple images This is not easily achievable, since at least in .xls files OLE objects are not part of a cell, but instead they are grouped up in a collection of OLE objects and each OLE has a x and y coordinate that determines its position. This means you can freely move OLE objects around your excel sheet.
Every OLE object has the property "TopLeftCell", which is the excel cell that contains the top left pixel of the OLE object, but that value might be off by 1 in each direction or even more when someone decides to move the OLEs around. You can still use this method to import OLE objects, but you'd need to double check every single one of them to be sure, unless you have a better way to determine in which cell the OLE belongs. |
